C+J, Whonnock Lake British Columbia Wedding
When I started to tell my friends and family that I was moving to Victoria, everyone asked why. Why leave a business that is established? Why leave your home? It's hard to move when you have a lot of give up, but it was sweet dreams of photographing in the Mountains and on the ocean, all the time, every weekend, not just once a year, among other things, that was calling. It was hopes of a better place, and new beginnings with a rumour of a mild winter. In May wedding season began, and after my first wedding in Victoria, British Columbia, my good friend and excellent Abbotsford Wedding Photographer Sharalee Prang asked for a hand shooting Caitlyn and James, she said its in the mountains, I said count me in.
I hate to sound anything but cliche and I must say it is a true friend that helps make dreams come true, so the biggest thank you to Sharalee for making me feel like a true British Columbia wedding photographer and of course thank you to Caitlyn and James.
Head over to Sharalee's blog later to see her perspective and a wedding slideshow for the day in its entirety.
